Local Bookshops

Waterstones

47, Titanium House Braehead Shopping Centre, King's Inch Rd, Renfrew G51 4BP, UK – 0141 885 9333

A great range of genres. Staff very knowledgeable - and not afraid to suggest other shops where you might be able to access a book if they don't have it.

Despite limited floorspace, good range of books, kids section and cafe.

The Works

126, intu Braehead, King's Inch Rd, Glasgow G51 4BN, UK – 0141 886 7633

Plenty to keep the kids busy with craft and story wise. Range of books and games changes often. Good discounts on most things and a quite good craft / art range. Not highest quality but certainly useable, especially if just starting out or for the kids. Often find 'themed' games here like GOT or Harry Potter.

Great little shop with plenty of games and reading material to keep the grandkids and grandparents amused for hours and hours during those rainy days or those days while confined to the house. Find the staff here really friendly and and very helpful

My friends and I were trying out DnD properly for the first time and found this to be a brilliant experience, the staff were brilliant very helpful and kind :) We managed to successfully complete our first quest, and the Dungeon master finished it off successfully. I would highly recommend this place as it is a live and upbeat atmosphere, be prepare for loud war cries.
